Heavy rainfall overnight has caused significant disruptions across Northern NSW, with NSW SES volunteers responding to over 1,300 calls for assistance.
In the past 24 hours alone, emergency teams have managed 900 incidents, including 17 flood rescues, as rising water levels continue to impact local communities. SES crews worked tirelessly through the night to ensure public safety.
Highest Rainfall Recorded:
- Bellingen: 175mm
- Mullumbimby: 171mm
As conditions allow, SES teams will begin assessing damage and assisting affected residents.
