A Bendigo KFC has been shut down “until further notice” after a man was found dead inside the restaurant.
Police were called to the store earlier today, where officers examined the scene as staff continued to prepare and serve food just metres away. The man’s body was later removed by William Farmer funeral directors around 2pm.
A police spokesperson confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
At 4.19pm, a KFC spokesperson announced the closure of the outlet, stating: “Our immediate focus is the welfare and privacy of those affected.”
