Transport for NSW has issued a warning to all motorists, stating that traffic conditions will be altered approaching multiple bridges along the Hunter Expressway from Monday 13 March until Thursday 6 April. Crews will be conducting maintenance work, including cleaning and maintaining drainage, which will be carried out at night between 6.30pm and 5am on weekdays (weather permitting).
To ensure the safety of motorists and workers, traffic control measures will be implemented, including lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h. The work will be staged at various locations over the month to minimise the impact on drivers.
Transport for NSW is urging all motorists to be vigilant while driving and to adhere to the speed limits and signs. They have also expressed their gratitude for the public’s patience during this period. Stay safe on the roads!
