Man Missing for Over a Month – Urgent Hunt for Hunter Local Who May Be in Sydney
Police have launched an urgent public appeal to help locate a Hunter region man who vanished more than a month ago and may now be in Sydney.
69-year-old Gary Millard was last seen in East Maitland on Thursday, 5 March 2026. After he failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers from the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District began a search that remains ongoing.
Authorities say his disappearance is out of character, raising serious concerns for his welfare.
Gary is described as Caucasian, with fair skin, a medium build, approximately 170cm tall, with grey hair and a beard.
Recent inquiries suggest he could be in the Sydney area.
