Lance Corporal Jack Fitzgibbon and Lance Corporal Tulsa Rumney to be honoured at Kearsley Dawn Service

Kearsley residents are invited to attend a Dawn Service tomorrow morning to pay tribute to Lance Corporal Jack Fitzgibbon and Lance Corporal Tulsa Rumney, with commemorative plaques to be officially unveiled during the ceremony.

The service will be held on Saturday, 25 April 2026, beginning at 5:30am at the Kearsley Remembrance Garden, located in the grounds of Kearsley Community Hall.

A pre-service march will commence at 5:20am from the Kearsley Tennis Courts, proceeding along Congewai and Mulbring Streets to the Remembrance Garden. The march will be led by an Australian Army infantryman.

The Dawn Service will formally begin at 5:30am, where attendees will gather to honour the two servicemen. During the ceremony, plaques commemorating Lance Corporal Fitzgibbon and Lance Corporal Rumney will be unveiled.

Following the service, attendees are invited to remain for an Anzac-themed raffle and BBQ breakfast held within the grounds of Kearsley Community Hall.
