Appeal for witnesses following suspicious bushfire – South Coast

The South Coast has been devastated over the last few weeks by bushfire, Yesterday another fire started around 2:20pm in bushland near Lake Mulwala in Mulwala, about 80km west of Albury.

The fire quickly spread and burnout 35ha before it was contained by exhausted firefighters who have been working around the clock over the last few weeks.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit and are appealing for anyone who may have seen a small fishing boat in the area.
